In addition to eating a meatless diet, we are endeavoring to use products that are vegan and "cruelty-free" (not tested on animals, free of animal by-products).  We read labels on everything we buy.  It takes a little extra time but it's worth it!

We have found plant-based substitutes for many products, including dish and laundry detergents; household cleaners; shampoos, soaps, and lotions; meat (of course) and favorite desserts, such as ice cream.  While the list of things we have tried is not all-inclusive, it will give you a good idea of options that are available and hopefully guide you in your journey to healthier, more compassionate living.  Please check back often as we will endeavor to add items to this list as we try new things!
